I've been making a lot of Halloween cards and fall layouts lately so I've been weeding through all these seasonal papers and embellishments for a couple of weeks now at least.   I have a couple of challenges I will enter this card into.   First when I saw the new sketch #179 at   "FEELING SKETCHY" this morning I immediately knew what embellishments I had for the perfect card to go with the sketch.   Then I found this starry paper, used it for my background and inked all the edges in black to make it a little more night like and added my cobweb, sentiment and some 3D spiders and viola another Halloween card made.   I love this season and I love using up what I've been collecting over the years.

Here is the sketch and the link to the challenge #179 at   "FEELING SKETCHY"  You have 12 days left from today to enter this challenge.

The second challenge I am going to enter my card in is  "THE PAPER PLAYERS"  Challenge #PP366 is Clean and simple Spooky.     This card is basically black and white with a spot of purple so I consider it pretty clean and simple and the Spooky part has to be the cobwebs, thats spooky when you get caught in there with all the spiders.     Here is the link to "THE PAPER PLAYERS"  for all the details.

  1. The 3 D spiders are really awesome! You've created a spooky scene for them to inhabit. I like that you've made the cobweb and letters from glittery paper. Thanks for joining us at The Paper Players this week.

  2. Ooh I love your bling-y Halloween card, Barb! The black glitter paper and purple rhinestones are gorgeous. Thanks for joining us this week at The Paper Players!

  3. Beautiful card you made. I like the way have you used our sketch and the BOO scene is so fantastic :-))
Thanks for playing with us at Feeling Sketchy. Hugs, Andreja

  4. Great card. Thank you for joining the challenge at Feeling Sketchy. Hope to see you again next time.
