Just got a couple of layouts made today while watching the KC Chiefs football game.   One was this layout for the  "LASTING MEMORIES"  new challenge to use a last 5 different patterned papers.  I have six when you count the patterned paper that I cut my title Happy out of.

Now, on to this week's challenge. Our theme for September has been "Patterned Paper Play" and each week we have given you a pattern that you must use on your layout. How much of each pattern you use is up to you - use a little of use a lot! This week we are going to play all of the patterns out there!

Outdoor Adventure

Filling up the album of my daughters family vacation Road Trip to Colorado.   They had so much fun and I got so many pictures from them for layouts.   So a win win for all of us.

I'm using this for the "LASTING MEMORIES"   Patterned Paper challenges for this month.   This last week was to use Striped Paper.

On A Walk

This my brother with me in these pictures.   He had back surgery toward the end of August and after the first week  we started taking short walks together.   Help him exercise his back and me just to get some exercise.

I'm using this for two different challenges.     I picked the pictures for  the "SCRAP CHALLENGE YOURSELF" and then chose the sketch at  "SKETCH N SCRAP" to make my layout.

"SCRAP CHALLENGE YOURSELF"    For the past 20 years I have considered my brother Bruce my best friend.   We have always been close but these last 20 years we have lived in the same town or just an hour or so apart and we have been there for each other through thick and thin.   I could never have a better best friend.

"SKETCH N SCRAP"    This sketch worked out great for my pictures I chose.  I wanted to use the two selfies we took while we were out on our walk and also some scenery pictures too.  So this sketch for four pictures was perfect for me.

You Rock in Colorado

Working hard on all the pictures from my daughter and families vacation last month in Colorado.
I made this layout using the Sketch challenge at "SCRAP OUR STASH" .     It was a great sketch
to work with for these pictures.

Adventure in Colorado

I used the "SCRAP OUR STASH" September Remix Challenge for this layout.   You had to scrap lift the layout and be sure and use at least 5 different patterned papers.   I used 8 different patterned papers in my layout and a lot of scraps.

I am also entering my layout at  "LASTING MEMORIES"  as I went to my stash of different floral papers to use on most of the strips behind my picture.  For their Patterned Paper challenge to use Florals.

LM #565 - Patterned Paper Play - Florals

Hello, everyone! Welcome back to Lasting Memories - we are so happy that you have stopped by today.

It is already time for our third challenge of the month. Our theme for September is "Patterned Paper Play" and each week we will give a pattern that you must use on your layout. How much of each pattern you use is up to you - use a little of use a lot! This week's challenge is:

 LM #565 - Florals

Use a floral patterned paper on your layout.

I've been working on making a lot of layout from my daughters family road trip to Colorado last month.
They sent back so many pictures I might end up with a whole album of layouts for them.
They took to railroad up to the top of Pikes Peak and it seemed like everyone that did that was treating themselves with a donut on top so the kids did too.    Elle doesn't get sweets and sugars every day but she sure got her fair share during this trip and loved every bit of it.

I used the sketch for challenge #233 at  "SKETCH N SCRAP"  for this layout.   Plus the bonus was that I got to use a lot of my scraps.    Always good to mix and match and use those leftovers.
