It was a big day when my granddaughter got her new 20" bike so I decided to make a layout of it with a bigger picture and use the challenge at   "LASTING MEMORIES"   I usually scrap 4x6 and 3x5" pictures so this time I did a 5x7

Hello everyone! Welcome back to Lasting Memories! We are so happy that you have stopped by. We have a fun new theme and new challenges all set for the next month. 

Just a quick reminder - starting with the September challenges we are no longer offering a monthly prize, but we will still have our Top 3 and Guest Designer picks each month. 

For September,  DT member Lauren is challenging us to get out of our comfort zone and try something new. Here is what she has to say about our September theme - 

We all have our own scrapbook style.  We tend to repeat certain elements, colors, and even layout designs.  This month, let's move out of our comfort zone.  These challenges won't be too specific because each person will need to evaluate their own scrapbooking and do something different from their typical layouts.

Our first challenge for September is:

LM #614 - Photos - create a layout using a photo that's not your typical size.  For example, if you mostly scrap 4x6 size, use a 5x7 or 8x10 photo instead.
