I (Heart) Summer

I had fun making this layout, a little different than my usual design style but I started out with the inspiration from Sketch #428 at  "SKETCHES IN THYME".
My granddaughter had been over swimming and didn't want to leave but then Mom and Dad reminded her that their first ripe strawberry was ready for them to come home and pick.   So then
she was all happy about going home.   She had to make sure and watch carefully as Dad cut it into
three slices so they could all have a bite of the first strawberry off their plant in the back yard.

Here is the sketch I used and the link to "SKETCHES IN THYME".

  1. I like the simplicity of this page: the colors of the papers make the photos stand out in a fantastic way. Thanks for stopping by on the Sketches in Thyme blog.

  2. Love the idea of tearing the patterned paper, the torn edge emulates the "watercolor" look in the sketch. Thanks for joining us at Sketches In Thyme!
