The Guest Book
Leslie and Jason did so much planning for their wedding on their own and came up with some great and unique things for the reception. One thing was their own rendition of a guest book. They knew they would never look again at the old school guest book for everyone to sign at the reception so after a lot of "pins" on Pinterest they came up with this idea. They like to play Jenga on their own and with friends so they bought a couple of new sets and had everyone sign one of the blocks and then in the future when ever they play they can once again read the messages from their wedding guests.
I checked out the "Shop Scrap Much" blog today to see what the new sketch was and it was perfect to scrap these 2 pictures. I used a papers from several collections. The background paper is from DCWV-Serenity Stack, the gold patterned paper was from DCWV-Gilded stack the long floral strip is from a Martha Stewart punch pad. The tag and the scalloped border under the pictures was cut from a 4x6 PL card I had. I had a scrap of gold stared paper from a single sheet I had bought and matted the tag. Then I used a pale green card stock to mat everything else. One of their wedding colors was very close to this and hard to see in this picture but the center of the background paper is this shade of green. This wedding album is going to be huge, I have a feeling I'll have one 3ring album for the ceremony and 1 for the reception. I already have a post bond album filled with layouts from wedding prep and dress shopping and such. What can I say I'm addicted to scrapping and I have lots of pictures from my daughters wedding. The sketch at "Shop Scrap Much" just came out today so check it out HERE plenty of time to enter. And you can see the sketch below.
