Ride

Elle loves this tricycle she got at Christmas and the best part of it for the adults is the handle behind it the high so you can stand upright and push her.   It's a good thing because she could sit and ride on this inside and out all day long.

I used the sketch challenge  SC123 for June at   "SOUL SCRAPPERS"   only a couple of days to enter so I'm glad I got it made.    Here is the sketch.

Chanukah 2016

I'm still finding some old pictures I want to scrap for my step-daughter and family before they come to visit us the end of July.   I sure hope they have extra room in their suitcase because I have a massive stack of layouts for her to take home.

I'm entering this at  "LASTING MEMORIES" for another of their Stash Busting challenges in June.   Challenge #400.   I must have really used all of my rub-ons in the past because the only thing I could find that would come close to working with this layout is the two silver snowflakes I added to this layout.

LM #400 - Stash Busting - Rub Ons

Hello, everyone! Happy Father's Day to all of the Dads out there!

We are back today with our third challenge of the month and it is our 400th challenge overall!

Our theme for June is "Stash Busting"  and today our challenge is:
LM #400 - June 17 - Stash Busting - Rub Ons.  Add some rub ons to your layout.

Shaker Card

I made this Shaker card for my youngest granddaughter  to send her for July 4th,  I thought she would have fun with it.

I'm entering this card in three different challenges.

First challenge is   "TUESDAY THROWDOWN"  Challenge # 398 - Interactive card.  I would say a shaker card is definitely interactive.

Next is  "JUST ADD INK"   Challenge #414 is Just Add a Window/Frame.     I have framed out the shaker card and  a clear window over the beads.

And last but not least is  "PILE IT ON"  Holidays and/or Layers.   I have both on my card.

July 4th card

Today is make my July 4th cards and I have lots of inspiration and different challenges my card will work for.

I'll start with "CAS-UAL FRIDAYS"     Here is their photo inspiration #CFC202.

Next is "SHOPPING OUR STASH"   Challenge #360 is

Shopping Our Stash #360 - Red, White & Blue

That means the predominant colours we want to see on your project are...you guessed it...Red, White & Blue (you can use one, two or all three)

And my third challenge entry is at  "PILE IT ON"  where they always encourage you to combine their challenge with as many others as possible.

Pile It On! Challenge #143 - Holidays and/or Layers

Our new challenge for you is Holiday. Feel free to be inspired by a fun, random holiday (not Birthday). Since it's the 3rd Sunday of the month, it's time for our monthly optionalbonus theme: Lots of Layers. You can choose one or both themes, and you may enter the challenge as many times you like, as long as you are inspired by at least one other Challenge theme.

Cleaning the bike or maybe Water Fun

After Elle's Dad took a long bike ride out on county roads early Fathers Day morning.   He came home and had Elle helps him wash his bike off.   I'm sure Jason got his bike clean but it looks to me like there was a lot more water fun for Elle, while she sprayed the bike, her Dad and herself.
I'm entering this at   "THE PAPER GIRLS CHALLENGES"     Challenge #154  is Bicycles.
So  I have Jason bike in the photos and I also have a strip of patterned paper bicycles going down the left side of the left page.   You have four more days to enter.

Here is the challenge at   "THE PAPER GIRLS "

Challenge #154 - Bicycles

Summertime is in full swing and one thing we do around here is get out our bikes!
That's my challenge for you this time!

Read

I made this layout with my interpretation of Bev Code's sketch #329 at  "SKETCHES IN THYME"

I just love this picture of Elle,  it looks like she wanted to do a little reclining while reading the other day.    Her Mom and Dad don't put her in this rocker anymore but its still sitting out so every now and then she just gets in on her own and relaxes.   It might just be because I'm Grandma but I just think she is adorable no matter what she is doing.   Thus the fact that she has lots of layouts already made and filling 3 albums now and is only 17 months old.

Here is the sketch I used at   "SKETCHES IN THYME"
