These pictures are from the road trip my brother and I took on Route 66 in April. This was our 3rd attempt on this trip, we were originally going in 2020 but Covid hit so no traveling. Then we took off in May last year and at the end of day 2 we started having major car problems and ended up getting towed home. This year we took off in April and traveled 5 full days before we started with car problems again and decided to turn around then and head back to Missouri. We still had a great trip and saw a lot but didn't finish the whole route or the other places we planned on visiting on our route home. This will probably be our last long grip in a 99 Mustang. We will save it for our day trips. :)
I made this layout for "SCRAP YOURSELF" and their May challenge to be messy. I used 3 different spray inks on my background. Messy for sure. I need to bring in a big box to spray into for now on.
I love this page, Barbara! The photos are fantastic, your background looks amazing, and the story behind it is wonderful. This is what scrapbooking is all about! Thank you so much for joining us at Challenge YOUrself this month!
ReplyDeleteLove your messy background! It turned out great! What a story. Third times a charm? Or maybe not? Love the photos and the design. Thank you for joining in with us at Challenge YOUrself.
ReplyDeleteLove the sprays! Those are perfect color choices for your photos and patterned papers! I'm so sorry you had problems with your trip, but at least you got a good scrapbook page out of it! Thank you for sharing with us at Challenge YOUrself!
