The Daredevil

 

Some of my grandkids made a trip to Mexico for Spring Break this year.   The daredevil 10 year old did some jumping off the cliffs and into the water from rope swings.   He had a blast.

I'm entering this at the Scrappy Friends double challenge.

First I used  "ROCHELLE SPEARS"  sketch challenge for March.     Rochelle always has a great sketch to use every month.   With our move to a new town and house this month, I am down to the last day to play along, but I was determined and got it done.

Then  I always want to combine the tic-tac-toe challenge at  "SCRAP WITH STACY"  I love this kind of challenge because you can decide what row to use.  This time I did the diagonal.   Use at 5 or more patterned papers ( I used 6).  Word Stickers and Foam Letters.   I had a new package of these glitter foam letters that were the perfect color to go with my papers.

Cranktivus Food Drive

 

This was such a fun sketch for March at "SCRAP OUR STASH"  I had these four pictures back from a biking food drive back in November that I hadn't scrapped yet so it worked out perfect for this sketch.

Here is the link and the sketch at  "SCRAP OUR STASH".    You also had to use washi tape on your layout and I used some thin washi tape, the black and gold diagonal stripes at the top of my layout.

A yummy treat

 

Last weekend was the perfect spring weekend and Elle got her first experience with the ice cream truck coming through the neighborhood.   She was impressed and she ate the entire popsicle.    Needless to say a sugar high soon followed.

I used sketch #220 at  "SKETCH N SCRAP"   for this layout.

SNOW FORTS

 One more layout today using a sketch challenge for March from "LASTING MEMORIES"  Challenge #538 is also a two photo sketch.    My daughter in law had a blast this snowy day in St. Louis playing outside with the kids and building not one but two different snow forts.

Valentines 2021

 

I'm still getting into the hang of coming downstairs to my new scrap room from our move.    I've always had a room on the main floor and was easy to just walk down the hall, so now it seems I need the push to

come downstairs and just concentrate on scrapping and not just walk in and out of the room all the time.

But I have more challenges I want to get finished this month, including this last sketch challenge #541 at "LASTING MEMORIES"

Let's Go Ski

My granddaugters left the warmth or Orlando and went to Beaver Creek, Colorado for a snow filled family fun Spring Break.    They all love to ski.

I used the double page sketch, Challenge #539 at  "LASTING MEMORIES"

Up Up and Away

 

We are all moved into our new house now and I have my craft room 95% arranged so I'm hoping to get back to daily scrapping and catching up on challenges I want to enter yet this month.
