This is a page from my December Daily, some pages are by days events and others are just my December decorations and such. I don't remember where I bought this arrangement but I remember I loved it as soon as I saw it and it has been on my dining room table well over 15 years now.
I'm entering this at "LASTING MEMORIES" for their challenge #476 - National Poinsettia Day.
Now, for this week's challenge. The theme for December is - December - Daily Holidays, Special & Wacky Days - a fun spin for this holiday season - and this week's challenge:
LM #476 - Team B - National Poinsettia Day is celebrated on Dec 12 - Your challenge is to use poinsettias on your layout in some form.
These beautiful flowers are a well-recognized symbol of Christmas. Poinsettia Day was officially declared by an Act of Congress. It is in honor of Joel Roberts Poinsett, who died on December 12, 1851. Poinsett was the first Ambassador to Mexico. Poinsett brought this colorful plant back to his plantation in the U.S. He grew the plants in his Greenville, S.C plantation and gave them out as gifts to friends.
