Check-Up Time

Leslie wanted me to be sure and use these weight records she got at each of Elle's check-ups.   I think she has all of them so far, but these are the two she found she gave to me.   So I had them send me pictures from a Dr. appt and these are the two they sent me.   When I saw the sketch  #128 at
"SKETCH-N-SCRAP" I thought it would work great to use because I had two vertical pictures and I could use the two Dr. notes for my horizontal picture place on the sketch.   I usually have trouble not following a sketch exactly but I'm sure glad I worked with this one and got to use my memorabilia and make it look like the sketch.
Here is the sketch and link to  "SKETCH-N-SCRAP"

When I started laying out the pictures and notes on my desk I remembered there was a challenge with the color yellow.   I looked thru my challenges for the month so far and found what I was looking for.
At  "SCRAP OUR STASH"  the May 1st challenge is a tic-tac-toe board  I knew I could use it also with this layout I wanted to make.   I used the left hand vertical row.    A journal card, the color yellow and 3+ patterned papers,  PL card that says Notes for my journal card, color yellow background yellow cards stock, the word notes in yellow and the Dr. cards have yellow and there are yellow flowers in my main patterned paper.  3+ patterned papers,  the floral, the pale purple diamond paper, and the pale green cross paper, the forth is a tiny heart punched from paper with all the colors for the background paper on my journal card.
Here is the link and challenge details at   "SCRAP OUR STASH"

I am also entering this layout in one more challenge.   "SCRAPPING 4 FUN CHALLENGES"     Challenge #89  is Anything Goes for National Scrapbook Day.   I've been working on NSD challenges all week and can't wait till tomorrow when even more are announced
on different blogs.    I can't pass up an Anything Goes challenge, so easy peasy to combine challenges.

Then last but not least another NSD challenge at  "SCRAP OUR STASH"   for the day 7 challenge, (yeah it was posted early)   it was to use this sketch from "Sketch-N-Scrap" also with the use of a stash item of Stars     I have 4 wood veneer stars on my layout.   Works great because my granddaughter has been a star at all of her check-ups.

  6. Really sweet layout. You did a really nice job following the sketch. The floral paper is a nice choice for a baby girl layout. Great idea using the hospital weigh-ins as memorabilia/embellishments. TFS.
