Falling Leaves

I just made this fall card today.    I'll be sending it to my brother,  we have spend a day together every week for the past three and just go out driving around on country roads, no particular destination in mind, just a relaxing drive.   He had a bicycle wreck and hurt his shoulder so can't drive so I've been the designated driver and getting him out of the house.     So I thought this card with the Go Where the Wind Blows sentiment was perfect.

I'll get to enter it in two challenges.

"SHOPPING OUR STASH"

Shopping Our Stash #406 - It's Pumpkin Spice Season!!

Greetings & salutations crafty pals!

Thanks for joining us for our latest challenge.

DONNA is our host this time around and she is one of those people who love all things autumn / fall...included the most beloved / hated PUMPKIN SPICE

That means for this challenge we want to see something pumpkin, fall / autumn related on your project, or you can use a fall / autumns based colour theme.

"HAND STAMPED SENTIMENTS"  Challenge #325 is a mood board and I was inspired by the fall colors and the leaves in the pictures.

Feed Me !!!

My granddaughter was so excited to find out we could get fish food to feed the Koi fish at the China restaurant where we went to eat, but we told her she had to eat a really good dinner before we could feed the fish.  Luckily she was happy to eat everything on her plate, including a piece of sushi.

I have two challenges I'll use with this layout.

First I'm entering this layout at the "LET'S GET SKETCHY" October sketch challenge and mood board.  From the mood Board I went with the variety of colors that was in the upper left square and combined patterned papers with several different colors.  I have tans, greenish yellow, orange, dark blue, light blue, brown, etc.   Then I thought the top right corner of my background paper with the see grass and coral reminded me of the look and texture of the succulents in the top right square on the mood board.      For the challenge I decided to use 2 pictures instead of 3 and use the place of 2 pictures for one horizontal.

Here is the link and sketch and mood board at   "LET'S GET SKETCHY"

All you have to do is use Patterned papers on your project and that is all I used here,  I have used
four different patterned papers.

Noel Card

It's card making time in my craft room.   Going to be going back and forth between Halloween,
Fall and Christmas card making for the next couple of week.   It's the time of holidays and cards to mail so I will be busy.

I made this card with two new challenges in mind.

First I used the sketch #584 at  "SKETCH SATURDAY"   Will probably save it and use it again, so versatile and for any of the events I need to make cards for.

KING, the horse

The St. Louis family went to a work event, looks to be Hawaiian style theme, at Anheiser Busch Biergarten and King the Clydesdale was on hand for everyone to meet and pet and have pictures taken with.   So this is the whole family together for one picture.     I used the Sketch #391 at
"SKETCHES IN THYME"  the first sketch for October for this layout.

World Card Making Month

I was asked to be a Guest Designer for "SKETCH N SCRAP"  as they celebrate World Card
Making Day the entire month of October with a new card sketch revealed every Saturday
for the month of October.      So I'm looking forward to getting my stash of cards built up
again this month using all the great sketches that will be here.

Today I used sketch #1 and I love the versatility of it.   Since we are now getting into the fall
season, I went with what I see as some fall colors, even using a brown flower, but to make it
pop I backed it with a bright yellow.

Here is the link to "SKETCH N SCRAP" and this weeks card sketch.   Be sure and keep checking back for more card fun throughout the month.
