I made this layout using a sketch from Wednesday at "PAPER ISSUES" and also for the lastest Stash Blast Challenge #574 at "LASTING MEMORIES" I added a piece of flair to the right of the large photo.

All summer I've been talking about taking a road trip (only 3 hours away from home) to Shannon County, Missouri where my grandmother was born and two of her sisters still lived. Home of Current River, Jacks Fork River and so many beautiful springs, Big Springs, Round Spring, Blue Spring. Finally a week ago today my brother and I took off for the day and night. It was the most perfect Fall Day, the temperature got up to 74 (2 days later the high was 45). We visited all the springs, both rivers, saw the house where one Aunt lived and the General Store they ran in the small town for over 50 years, the Bank that my Uncle started and visited the cemetery where my great grandparents are buried and a Great Aunt that always spent Christmas's with my family.
I was pushed but the November challenge #95 at "SCRAP CHALLENGE YOURSELF" and used different stamps on the background of my layout. I used a 4 different stamps on this layout, leaves on the wood paper strip, a tree stamp, leaf/acorn garland stamp and then the stamp on my journal box. I enjoyed pushing myself to do something I don't usually do when making a layout.
I've made a layout using the pictures of my granddaughter and the dragon decor at her house already this year but today I made a different layout that I will keep in my Holidays album just for me and not in the album for my granddaughter because she already has 3 or 4 Halloween layouts from this year in her album.
I used Angela's sketch #492 at "SKETCHES IN THYME" for this layout. It was perfect to combine some different Halloween papers and stash I always have on hand.
These are my two nephews that live in Sydney, Australia. I love making layouts of them for their Grandpa that lives here in Missouri in the same town I live in.
I'm entering this at "LASTING MEMORIES" for their challenge #573 Stash Busters. I used spider web washi tape across the top and the left side of the layout and the "Boo Crew" is a sticker.
LM #573 - Punches, Stickers, and/or Washi Tape
Use one, two, or all three of the items above on your layout. You may include other items, as well.
The day before Thanksgiving we went on an adventure in search of "The Great Pumpkin".
We looked at all shapes and sizes of pumpkins, all colors, perfect pumpkins and weird pumpkins. We couldn't decide what one was The Great Pumpkin until Elle found this one, she was sure it was it and we all agreed. Adventure complete.
I used sketch #236 at "SKETCH N SCRAP" for this layout.
