My oldest granddaughter turned 10 this month.  Hard to believe she is growing up so fast

I made this layout of the family with her cake using Sketch #188 at  "SKETCH N SCRAP". The first of their 4 challenges for the month.

Fishing in the Great Outdoors

Hi everyone I'm back again this week as the Guest Designer here at  "LASTING MEMORIES"
What fun challenges there are this month,  last week was polka dots and now this week its all about
striped paper.  I used the two tone stripe paper from Echo Park Dots and Stripes collection.  I even used part of the tear strip on the page for the left edge of the picture.
I kept it in muted colors and nothing fancy to showcase the picture of my son enjoy his time outside and getting some great fishing in that he loves.

HELLO FALL

We are going to see our grandkids in St. Louis tomorrow and I always have more layouts ready to take to them whenever we are together here or there.   I went through the stack I had made up and then found these pictures of Addisyn that I hadn't scrapped yet so went to work on getting one last layout made to take with me.

Has a great mood board for November and I was inspired by all the leaves, the fall trees, the pumpkin and all the gold/red/oranges colors of the falling leaves.

Lunch with Dad

This turned out to be a very simple layout to make, but the simplicity is what I like about it.

Every week when I go visit my Dad we go out to eat.   He isn't ever very hungry but the special this week at one of the places we usually go to was an open face roast beef sandwich, and as soon as he
verified it came with mashed potatoes he wanted it.    For him could have been 3 meals but he loved it.

I used the November sketch at  "LET'S GET SKETCHY"  for this layout.

Here is the sketch I used.

1st ornament

I LOVE Christmas, but this is even a first for me.    We put up our tree yesterday.    I know, crazy isn't it?    It's a pre-lit tree so that is all we did to it yesterday, but today adding some colored lights to the white lights already there and then putting on the ornaments.    

Anyway I got this picture of our cat Rose who immediately climbed into the tree.   She hasn't done this since she was a kitten 6 years ago.   But I'm glad I got the picture because I think it makes a cute layout to start the season.

I used the Nov. 1st sketch #395 at  "SKETCHES IN THYME"  for the layout.

Rainy Day

I'm happy to say I was asked to be a Guest Designer at  "LASTING MEMORIES" for the month of
November.     I'm going to have a lot of fun with the theme this month of Patterned Paper Prints.

Starting off the month the Print is  ----- "Polka Dots"     I used a full sheet of polka dot paper as my background for this one, but you can use as much or as little as you want just so we see those
Polka Dots.
