Fashion Design

 I had forgotten that my Mom took a fashion design course while in college.   I had seen her portfolio many decades ago but had forgotten about it until a couple of years ago after Dad passed and we were cleaning out their home.    Of course I kept the whole portfolio but I took a few pictures while my brother and I were there as we were sending memory pictures while cleaning out things to our kids.

While looking through miscellaneous pictures on my computer yesterday I saw these again and printed them out so I could scrap them today using the newest sketch challenge just announced at  "SKETCH N SCRAP".   It was perfect because I had for pictures.   One might be harder to see it because it was just her pencil sketch before she colored it all in.

Christmas 1950 something

 

 I need to look at some old layout I've done for this era and see if I can figure out what year it is.   This is my brother and me.   I was born in 1951 and he was in February 1954, so I'm thing he is getting close to 3 years old and that would make this 1956.

I used the January sketch challenge at  "SCRAP OUR STASH"  and I also added the photo corners on the pictures.

Bahamas Vacation

 

 

I had been saving pictures from our Orlando grandkids vacation this last summer to scrap after I found the right double page layout to use.    I decided to use the January double page layout at  "STICK IT DOWN"

because it was perfect for the majority of the pictures being the vertical format that I wanted to use.

Happy Birthday

 

This week was our grandson Gibson's birthday, he celebrated with a chocolate cake and special Pokemon cookies.    What a great celebration.

I used sketch #500 at   "SKETCHS IN THYME"   for this layout.   I had the two pictures printed and when I saw the sketch this morning I knew it was perfect and went right to work.

Going to Vet School

 During the holiday break from school out granddaughter went to "Vet School".   Perfect for this little animal lover.    She did great and got her graduation certificate.
