Love
I always make layouts of the grandkids but rarely one of the parents, so this is my stepson David and his wife Nikki. When I saw the picture I knew I wanted to make a layout using it with just them, no kids included. They will be here July 4th so will have this to add to the stack of layouts for them to take home.
I used the Sketch Challenge at "SOUL SCRAPPERS" SC145
Lee Canyon
My stepsons family just finished a Las Vegas COVID style vacation at his wife's parents home.
They spent a lot of time swimming at their house and then some different day trips out into
the areas surrounding Vegas. On this day they drove about 45 minutes away and went to Lee Canyon for a day of hiking and visiting the ski resort for some summer activities. It looks like
they had a great time from the pictures they sent back. They will be with us here at the lake for
July 4th long weekend so I wanted to get as many new layouts made for them that I can to take home with them.
For this layout I used the Double Delight Sketch Challenge at "SOUL SCRAPPERS" to make this
layout. Here is the sketch . You have till July 15th to join in the challenge.
Feel free to add more photos, take away photos, whatever works for you!

Child Labor
Whatever Elle's Dad does Elle wants to help out and do the same. So this week it was helping carrying (pulling) the trash out to the curb for pickup. They do everything together, cooking, planting a garden, washing their bikes, building the swing set. She wants to do all the Dad and Mom do.
I used the June sketch at "LET'S GET SKETCHY" . I had to rotate it to work with my pictures.

Beautiful Granddaughters
These are pictures of my daughter-in-laws family. They took a bunch of family pictures on Mothers Day so I was so glad to get them and be able to scrap them.
I used sketch #202 at "SKETCH N SCRAP" for this layout. I loved being able to use so many layers putting this together. Everything I used but the brads was from a new collection I just got in the mail. It's Carta Bella - Flower Market. I love that I got to use one of the chipboard pieces as a Title for my layout too.
Here is the sketch and link to "SKETCH N SCRAP" be sure and check out all their challenges for
June.

Ice Cream
Every Sunday my daughter and family go to visit my Dad and they go out to lunch together.
Dad loves ice cream so the buffet place they mostly go to on Sundays has ice cream cones you can get for dessert. Dad always gets one and now that Elle is older she gets her own ice cream cone.
She is a great eater and eats a big lunch but always has room for that ice cream. Dad says they sit there for the longest time eating their ice cream than anything else. But he loves the time with her.
I used this week sketch reveal at "SKETCHES IN THYME" It is so fun to work with a grid
design sometimes to make a layout. I think it has its own unique look to it. I hope you have as
much fun with this sketch as I did. You have until June 30th to enter you layout for this sketch of any of the other sketches this month at "SKETCHES IN THYME"

Swimming Together
With no traveling this summer because of the coronavirus I hope I get to spend a lot of time just
have fun swimming times with my granddaughter. With that happening I can't complain about no
vacation away, this is all I need.
I'm entering this at two different challenges. A prompt challenge and a sketch challenge.
"CHALLENGE YOURSELF"
The theme for this month's challenge is Summer Dreams. You may portray our summer dream topic any way you like, because we love creativity! (But if the theme isn't obvious on your page, please explain it in your text.)
But don't forget to include a photo with YOU on your layout.
New Swing Set
When I saw the new challenge at "SCRAP OUR STASH" this morning I knew I was ready to do this challenge with this great sketch and the add-on that Kraft paper had to be included and at least one
metal embellishment.
Last week I had made my first trip out to a store other than a grocery store in three months and I went
to Michaels. One of the paper stacks I bought was all Kraft paper. So I just went ahead and used all
Kraft paper on my layout and then I have 3 metal embellishments, a metal charm that says love on
the pictures where they meet and then 2 metal gold jewels brads.
Here is the sketch and link to this challenge at "SCRAP OUR STASH".
Brother Luv
These last few days I've been making layouts of my two nephews because I'm working on getting
enough made to make an album for my brother for Christmas.
For this layout I used the new sketch #203 at "SKETCH N SCRAP" that just came out today.
It was perfect for these 3 pictures, of these cuties.
Here is the link to "SKETCH N SCRAP" and the sketch I used.

A Christmas Layout
I'm making an album for my brother with pictures of his two grandsons and I wanted to use the picture from their trip to see Santa last year. I have so many Christmas papers and lots of scraps of Christmas papers too so I thought the sketch the challenge at "LASTING MEMORIES" to use 5 different patterned papers was perfect and would great together and use up some of my scraps.
Counting the paper I used to cut out my tags I used 6 different patterned papers. I love mixing patterns and even mixing manufactures, I used 3 different ones on this layout and it was so much fun putting everything together.
LM #502 - Team A - Use at least 5 patterned papers on your layout
That's it! Just use at least 5 different patterned papers on your layout!
Jack Fruit
I'm using this layout for challenge #501 at "LASTING MEMORIES" It's A Celebration - Confetti
It's time for our second challenge of the month. We celebrated our 500th challenge last week and we are keeping the celebration going all month long! This week's challenge is:
LM #501 - Team B - Confetti - use mists/splatters, sequins, enamel dots, a shaker element, etc. to create some confetti on your layout
I have enamel dots on my flower embellishements and also sequin stars and regular sequins
around the scalloped die-cut I used to hold my title and journaling.
Brothers
I'm working on a scrapbook to give to my brother for Christmas. His two grandsons, Silas and Remy, live in Sydney, Australia. He was last there in November 2019 when Remy was just a 6 weeks old. He had plans to go back for 3 weeks the first of April this year but then the coronavirus and lockdowns cancelled those plans and it looks like he won't get to go back anytime this year so I though a scrapbook of pictures I've collected from Facebook and Instagram would be perfect for him to look through the pictures all together before he gets to visit in person again.
I'm entering this at "LASTING MEMORIES" for their challenge #500 - Bingo. The theme for June is "It's a Celebration" starting off with challenge #500 for them. Quite the accomplishment for them. I have a bingo on the diagonal from bottom left to top right.
Use a Sketch, Stickers, Flowers and 2 Photos.
Hello everyone! Good Sunday morning to you all! I do hope that you are having a good weekend!
Today is a special day here at Lasting Memories. Not only is it the start of a new month of challenges - but today we are sharing our 500th challenge! 500 challenges...I think that is a pretty awesome feat! There aren't a lot of challenge blogs left and we are so fortunate that we have such wonderful followers encouraging us to keep on going!
Since we are celebrating our 500th Challenge this month, our theme is "It's a Celebration" and our first challenge for June is:

Boating
We traded in our Rinker Deck Boat this winter and bought a new Rinker Q7 open bow boat along with our son and his family. The boat stays here at the lake where we live full time but then whenever they come down for the weekend they have a better boat for skiing, wakeboarding and tubing, they love it and we love it too because we have a new boat for half the price. Win Win.
I used the "SCRAPPY FRIENDS" double challenges for this layout. First I used the sketch at
"THROUGH THE EYES OF ROCHELLE SPEARS SCRAPBOOKING" Rochelle always makes the best sketches and I used so many of them and saved a lot to use over again too.
Next I combined the sketch with June's Tic-Tac-Toe challenge at "SCRAP WITH STACY"
Stacy alway comes up with a great challenge to combine each month with Rochelle.
I used the bottom row of the board for my layout...the color teal, stickers and one word title.
So check out the challenges and have fun like I do. You can do one or the other, they both offer a prize but then there is also a bonus prize offering if you combine both challenges. So 3 ways to win with one layout.
