Easter Dinner 2020

The Coronavirus has everyone doing things differently and that includes Easter celebrations this year.
We stayed home just the two of us like we have been since beginning of April and didn't travel to spend Easter weekend with family.   But we did decide to do something special.   I saw the ad for Easter dinners at this little out of the way place that we go to (or did before all this happened) and they have such great food.   So we ordered our dinner from them.   They had "curbside" pick-up.  When we got there, there were 10 cars and people were practicing social distancing waiting for their boxes of food they had ordered to be brought out to the.    They were doing a rousing business and when we left a new group of a dozen cars were there.     We had decided to order dinner for 4,  a dinner for 2 of fried chicken and a dinner for 2 of ham.   We got the candied carrots, green beans and scalloped potatoes for our sides.   We had dinner Sunday noon and again Monday night.   There are still some carrots left and a few green beans and two rolls.    I can't complain, it was fantastic and two nights at home not having to decide what to eat.

For this layout I used the April Jump Start Sketch at  "THE SCRAPROOM GROUP"

Then I am also entering this layout at  "LASTING MEMORIES"  for their first April challenge for the month.    This month is all Word Play and the first word is  SPRING.

 Today kicks off our April challenges and they are going to be fun! DT Member Denise has picked our theme and set our challenges for April. Are you ready? Let's get started!

For April our theme is going to be - Word Play - and you are to use an item or technique for every letter of these spring words:
Here is what I used for the letters.
S = Sketch
P = Plaid Paper and also Patterned Paper
R = Red
I = Inking (all of the edges are inked with black ink)
N = Numbers (2020 on my title and the prices in my picture)
G = Green and also Gold
