Love these boys

These are my only nephews (or nieces).   They live in Australia so I haven't even met Remy yet, but I see pictures of them all most daily so that helps having them so far away.   I'm making an album for my brother ( their Grandpa ) for Christmas.     For this layout I used the Scrappy Friends challenges.

First the sketch from "ROCHELLE SPEARS SCRAPBOOKING" and then the tic-tac-toe challenge at "SCRAP WITH STACY".    I did a diagonal line of.  Twine/Ribbon,  Journaling & Plaid.

Wild Flowers

My granddaughter was having a great time on her walk through the trails and was able to pick a big
bouquet of wildflowers to take home.    She loves picking flowers and other bits on nature when out walking or on her bike anywhere.   It's' the little things that always make her so very happy.

I used the 2 photo sketch #506 at "LASTING MEMORIES" for this layout.  I love how it turned out.

A Flower in Your Hair

Oh so pretty with a flower in your hair, oops I mean a flowers in your bike helmet.   Whoever said
bike race can't be pretty and stylish.

I made this layout for the July 2020 Sketch Challenge at  "SCRAP OUR STASH"
I went straight to my stash and found these 2 leftover 6x6 squares of the blue star paper, I just cut them to make a little smaller and then I had one strip of the red star paper left and I cut it into my banner and what was left of it I cut out the white stars leaving a little red around them and then lightly inked in red.   I used the little yellow tag for the date to pull the yellow from the center of the flower and also to work with the gold puffy title alphas and the gold glittery arrow.

A Slice of Summer

Nothing says summer more than eating a big slice of watermelon.     Oh so good.   These pictures
look like my granddaughter was really enjoying this slice of watermelon outside on their deck.
I used parts of a collection I love and was hanging on to the last few pieces and got them all to work on this.   Plus the watermelon die-cuts I have had a hoard from a swap from many many years ago
so these pictures were perfect to start using some of them.

I'll be entering this layout at "USE YOUR STUFF"   their challenge #401 Summer Fun was perfect to go with this layout because like the card says, a slice of summer and watermelon is true summer
treat to me.

Happy Summer!  Oh can you feel the heat and bask in the sunshine!
We want to see your sunny summery project for this challenge..show us your SUMMER FUN!

Nature Stop

Elle loves to go out with her Dad on the bike trails around Columbia,  these pictures are from a stop on one of their favorite trails to go on.

I used the sketch for July 15th at   "SKETCH N SCRAP"   for this layout.  Check out both layout sketches for the month and the two card sketches too.   You have till July 31 to enter.

I (Heart) Summer

I had fun making this layout, a little different than my usual design style but I started out with the inspiration from Sketch #428 at  "SKETCHES IN THYME".
My granddaughter had been over swimming and didn't want to leave but then Mom and Dad reminded her that their first ripe strawberry was ready for them to come home and pick.   So then
she was all happy about going home.   She had to make sure and watch carefully as Dad cut it into
three slices so they could all have a bite of the first strawberry off their plant in the back yard.

Here is the sketch I used and the link to "SKETCHES IN THYME".

My Captain

WooHoo, I scrapped a picture of only me, that is a rarity.      I printed this picture today so that I could play along with the July challenge at   "SCRAP CHALLENGE YOURSELF"
The challenge this month is a sketch.   This is challenge #79 as always you must include a picture of yourself on your layout.     For us scrappers that is harder than you think because we are usually the
pictures takers too.    But this time I passed the camera off to my husband and asked him to take my picture.

July 4 -- BBQ

We were home at the lake with some family members for the 4th and had our own BBQ, but this was the BBQ my daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter in the picture had together with my brother and Dad.    My son-in-law loves to cook and break and he grilled brats and hot dogs and then made a
true Greek salad and then made an awesome lemon curd and strawberry tart.   Sure wish I had been there just for that alone.

I used the first challenge of the month at  "SCRAP YOUR STASH"       What's My Challenge -- "Pick Your Word"
I picked the word BBQ and used it for my title.   Then for each item I used using the letters in BBQ

I used all B=Bo Bunny papers,    B=the color Blue   and  for Q=the letter Q in my title or you could go with Q=Quick and easy embellishments.   Just all I could come up with.  :)

Celebrate July 4th

I have 3 challenges to enter this layout in that I completed this afternoon.    We had a great viewing of several business sponsored fireworks display from our dock at the Lake of the Ozarks but then the
best was to our left and our right from neighbors with their huge displays.   We loved it all.

First I used the 6 photo sketch for challenge #505 at   "LASTING MEMORIES"

2nd is wanted to play along with challenge #203-Stars & Strips at "THE PAPER GIRLS CHALLENGE"  so I kept that in mind when I picked out the papers to use for my layout.

Challenge #203 - Stars and Stripes

Since we just celebrated Independence Day this past weekend here in the US, I thought it would be fun to include some stars and stripes on your projects. They do not have to be patriotic projects - you just need to use stars and stripes on your project.

Then last but not least, another challenge that came out today is the new challenge at  "In The Stars" at  "BITTEN BY THE BUG"    I added 8 different stars for embellishments on my layout, in different colors, styles and sizes.

IN THE STARS

Hello Cricuteers!! Connie Can Crop here with my next challenge for the BBTB2 Design Team.

We just celebrated 4th of July here in America and Canada celebrated July 1st. So let's create any type of project that includes at least 3 different size STARS. They can be any color but must be different sizes and cut with your Cricut. And yes you may use more than 3.

So much fun

I got these pictures of my granddaughter last weekend while I was being shown around her new swings and playhouse.  She jumped around from item to item to play and show me everything, so much not shown here.   She is a lucky little girl with great parents.

I used the 3 photo sketch at  "LASTING MEMORIES"  challenge #504.
This is the first challenge of the month here.   Looks like its going to be a fun month.

On Stage

Our granddaughter Addisyn loves to sing and perform.   Here she is in a Saturday class that she takes,
doing what she loves best.

I did the Pick 3 challenge for June at  "SOUL SCRAPPERS"  for this layout that is due by July 10th.

Here are my choices and the choices I had to choose at least 3 items from:

I choose 4 items and maybe could say 5.   I have a children theme,  colors pink or blue ( I have both),
3 or more pictures, 2 or more patterned papers and ribbon.  My 5th could be flowers as the one banner and on the umbrella embellishments I used floral paper.

****************************
Are you ready for a NEW Pick 3 challenge?  Just choose 3 or more of the items in this list, include them on your scrap page, card, or OTP, upload to the gallery, then let me know in this thread that you've done so.  Be sure to tell me which items you've used.

You and Me

Getting my oldest grandson to pose for a picture is rare but he did for this one with his Mom so I had to make sure and scrap it.

I used Sketch #204 at   "SKETCH N SCRAP"for this layout and it worked out perfect.
