Going to be working hard this month on pictures from our Hawaii cruise we took in March. This was my breakfast my first morning on board. I order this breakfast several times every cruise. I just love it.
I'm entering this at "LASTING MEMORIES" for challenge #801 - The Middle, everything is down the middle of my layout.
My son-in-law never ceases to amaze me. He sent these pictures to me one morning from work to show me his mode of travel to work that day. He loves to ride his bike and does so most everyday to work at the University but I would have thought with the snow on the ground and snow coming down this morning, he would have taken his car, but no, he still decided for his bike.
I used the Tic-Tac-Toe challenge #798 at "LASTING MEMORIES" for this layout. I used the top row across, 3 Word Title, Chipboard and Patterned Paper.
I made this layout for two challenges with Scrappy Friends. First the May sketch at "ROCHELLE SPEARS SCRAPBOOKING"
Next the Tic-Tac-Toe May Challenge at "SCRAP WITH STACY" I used the bottom row, Journaling, Tag and Flowers.
I used Challenge #797 the first for May at "LASTING MEMORIES" for this layout. I did the bottom row, Stickers, 3+ Patterned Papers and 1 Punch.
Greetings, everyone, and thanks for dropping in to check out our latest challenge. This is design team member Cheryl, and all our challenges this month require you to make a choice between the two given options to inspire your layout. Are you ready to decide between This or That? Let's go!
And then the tic-tac-toe challenge at "SCRAP WITH STACY" I did the diagonal right top to left bottom, Stitching (faux), Triangle and Stripes or Dots.
I made this double page layout for the "LASTING MEMORIES" April challenge #793. This or That, use the sketch or scraplift one of the design teams layout. I used the sketch given for this challenge.
It was great for using multiple photos, so I will be keeping it to use again.
I made this layout this morning and it works for today's "LASTING MEMORIES" Challenge # 786
This picture was taken on formal night at one of the photo screens. I was really happy with how this one turned out. We were on a pre-Christmas day cruise (Dec 7 - Dec. 22) but this was their early Happy New Year photo op. I'm so glad I saw it set up back in a corner and went over to have our picture taken.
I pulled out my case of Valentine theme papers and embellishments to make this and loved this background paper that was there as all I had to do was add a few extras and I had a layout I was really happy with. BTW, the corner triangle piece was the other half of what I cut from a 6x6 piece and used in another layout I made earlier today and when I saw it sitting off to the side of my desk I decided to use it and I think it added just enough of another element to the page.
I made this for the January challenge at "CHALLENGE YOURSELF" I think it fits the theme perfectly.
I'm starting to really work on layout from our December cruise we took. This will be on of the first layouts for this cruise album. I used the prompt for Challenge #784 at "LASTING MEMORIES"- Quotes.
My quote is "Embark on a New Adventure" and I'm using it for my title.
I just finished this layout this morning use the "LASTING MEMORIES" January challenge sketch
#780 using one photo.

I made this layout for the One Word Challenge at "CHALLENGE YOURSELF". My husband and I decided together in 2025 to not just sit here and think about what we wanted to do but to do it. So we started making plans, during a cruise in December 2025 we planned ahead for more cruises. That is why I chose the word TRAVEL as my word for the new year. I am 74 and he is 78 (will add a year each in 2026) so while we can we want to go and see and discover new and old places again. My husband loves cruise life now and the time on sea days to just sit and relax. I'm all for the excursions at the different ports, so we do some of both. We have 3 cruises planned for 2026 and 2 planned for 2027 already. In March we are cruising to Hawaii, in June we are cruising to Alaska and then the end of October we are doing a transatlantic cruise starting in Barcelona, Spain and ending back in Ft. Lauderdale. I also LOVE road trips, so I have a 15 day road trip planned with my brother in April. It's Route 66 100th anniversary so the first half of our trip will be the route out to California and then the last half of our drive going north and exploring 3 National Parks in Utah on our way home back to Missouri. Hubby isn't a road trip guy, he will drive cross country just to get from point A to B with only stopping for gas and food and if you can combine those stops thats even better. I like to stop and see the little things. Like the Continental Divide sign along the side of the road, and drive off the interstate so you can find the biggest ball of twine or Cadillac Ranch where Cadillac frames are standing on end out in the middle od nowhere and covered in spray paint graffiti. So back to my word for the year and beyond....TRAVEL. That is what I want to do for as long as I can and go and see all that I can.
Oh and in 2027 it is going to be a cruise from FL to CA and going all the way through the Panama Canal and later in the year a cruise out of London and see all the British Isles. So do it everyone, get up and see what you can, you don't have to travel around the world. Anything is possible, rediscover your town and its hidden gems, travel all over your state. Just enjoy all you can. You will love all you see and do.
