I took pictures of two of the Christmas projects Elle made at Day Care.    The teachers laminated them for the kids to take home to their parents,   I thought they were so cute.

This is my week for my layout reveal for Sketch #409 at  "SKETCHES IN THYME"
I hope you will take the time to check out this sketch and all the other sketches for the month and have fun creating.

Playing Christmas Carols

The last few days I've been trying to fill in pages on my 2019 Christmas album.   My 2 year old granddaughter Elle always likes to play the piano with her Papa, her great-grandfather.   So at Christmas this year it was no different.    It might not be real songs just hitting the piano keys but she loves it when we all come in to listen to her "play"

I used the new challenge at  "SCRAP OUR STASH"   It's a sketch challenge and you have to use Polka Dot paper (my green background paper and Washi Tape (the thin gold stripe above and below
the red music paper is Washi Tape.

Love Us

Still catching up on some Christmas layouts from this past Christmas.   My hubby and I don't get a lot of pictures taken of us together since I'm the main picture taker, but I handed over the camera to someone else to snap a couple of pictures of us and I'm glad I did.  I enjoyed making this layout to add to my Christmas album.

I used Sketch #408 at  "SKETCHES IN THYME"  for this layout.   I had all the papers laid out but then I went back and matted the 3 rectangle pieces so they would stand out a little bit better.

Gigi is Sick

Elle got a Doctors Kit for her birthday and I was her first patient,  I got checked all over,  some medicine, some bandaids, the whole kit was used.    Then after all human patients had been checked out then Malette the cat was next in line to become her patient.

I'm entering this at  "LASTING MEMORIES"  their Challenge #484  is "Once Loved, Now
Forgotten - Stamps"    I probably haven't done any stamps on a layout but perhaps twice in the
last 10 years.   On this one,  I stamped 3 speech bubbles and then cut them out and wrote in each one about the picture.

Holly Jolly Christmas

By this time I've usually made lots of Christmas layout for my chronological Christmas albums but I'm really behind this year so today got another made.
This is for the Scrappy Sisters double challenge.

First I used "ROCHELLE SPEARS BLOG"  sketch challenge.   Rochelle always has the best sketches to use.   This is another one I'll be saving to use on another layout at some point.

Then I combined it with the 2nd part at  "SCRAPPING WITH STACY"  and I used her
tic-tac-toe board and did the right hand side column.  I have 4 Christmas themed brads on
my layout,  the 3 different narrow strips of gold with tiny dots is Washi Tape and then I have
five different patterned papers on top of a textured embossed red card stock base.

80's Father Daughter Dance

I was so happy when my son sent me a bunch of pictures of my granddaughter Mylan and him and her friends before they left for the 5th grade Father Daughter Dance this year.   The theme was the 80's and they all dressed up so cute for it.   I got a kick that my son joined in on the theme too.    He said they had a great time.

I used the February double page sketch at  "STICK IT DOWN"   it was perfect for all the pictures he sent me.    There was even one picture he asked me to print in 8x10 format for him so he can frame it and hang it ag home.   Thats my next project to do today.

Here is the sketch and link to  "STICK IT DOWN"

My Gifts

I'm busy today making layouts from my granddaughters 3rd birthday the last week of January.
She was so excited about all the elements of what she did with the family that day.   From helping to bake the cake she wanted, for going out to pick up donuts as a breakfast treat,  to having all her family there after that for present time and that night she picked out what she wanted for her birthday dinner.   That is the next layout I made today.

For this layout I used the "SKETCH N SCRAP"  Sketch #194

I'm also entering this layout at  "THE PAPER GIRLS CHALLENGE" -  Challenge #193 is Birthdays.

Challenge #193 - Birthdays

I am 3

My granddaughters 3rd birthday was the end of January and she wanted a big cupcake cake for her birthday so she helped her Dad bake just that for her.      We filled the center  with M&M's for a
special surprise.   She also wanted Blue icing and of course that is just what she got.

I used the February sketch at   "LET'S GET SKETCHY"  for this layout.

I am also entering this layout at  "THE PAPER GIRLS"     Challenge #193 is Birthdays.

Challenge #193 - Birthdays

Hello crafty friends, and happy February!

This is Brittany, and I'm looking foward to kicking off  the begining of this month with something to celebrate: Birthdays!

If you're anything like me, I tend to make more birthday cards through the year than any other card. And with a large family, we tend to also have a lot of birthday celebrations I get to scrapbook as well! So, I'm looking forward to seeing your layouts, birthday cards, party decor, etc using this theme - I know I'm personally looking forward to the inspiration!

Valentine for Elle

I made this Valentine card today for my 3 year old granddaughter Elle.   I had fun picking out the little tag to use on it from a Pebbles Valentine collection, then it was extra fun personalizing two of the tags.   My daughter saves all of Elles cards she gets for any occasion so I always want to make something personal for her.

I am going to enter this in two different challenges.

1.   "THE PAPER PLAYERS"

2.  "CRAFTY HAZELNUT'S PATTERNED PAPER"

LOOK AT ME

I've had this picture of my granddaughter Mylan printed for about a month now and finally this morning got around to scrapping it.

I didn't follow any sketch, just put it together  with punch borders.   I used two different punches.
and just played around with a design.

I will add this to the challenge #483 at  "LASTING MEMORIES"

I've made a couple of Valentine cards back  in January but I need more so concentrating on some today.
