Gibson

I started to clean out some Iris cases in my scrap room that I hadn't touched in AGES and surprise to me I found about 30 old pictures.   Some 2 years old like these of my grandson Gibson and then some 25 years old.   One of those I scrapped yesterday and then have picked out others on my desk to work on in the next couple of days.   Obviously I didn't get much more cleaning done as I started looking for sketches to use for this find of pictures.    

For this layout I used the NSD sketch at "Sketch N Scrap"  We get to see these grandkids on Saturday so wanted to get more layouts finished to take to them.   My DIL, is so appreciative of all the pages I make of the kids that I always want to have some to take with me whenever we visit.   She sits there and immediately looks at them with the kids and then gets them into albums she has started with all of the layouts I've given them.

I really had fun with this layout and tried to pull all the colors in the pictures included in my papers, from the hint of blue you see on Gibson's blue jeans, the red in Davids shirt, the green in Gibsons' sweater and the hat they were both wearing and the brown of the table and background and even a little off white from corner of the menu and letters on the hat.
