Discover Route 66

When I made this layout I was working with the tic-tac-toe board at "SCRAP YOUR STASH"

I used the right column,  chevron paper (browns & black on right 2/3 of page),  ephemera (my discover Route 66 exhibits that I cut out from a brochure I picked up on one of our stops) and Thickers  (my title)    I also through in an extra and used a border punch.

I'm working right now on finishing the album from a road trip we took in July 2014 from Missouri up to the upper peninsula of Michigan.   I had made a lot of layouts but when I looked back through the album and the pictures on the computer last week I knew I wanted to add more layouts.  So that has been my goal.    I love when I can make a layout and include some memorabilia, so that is my goal this week.

Here is the link for the challenge at "SCRAP OUR STASH"   Entries are due by April 29th at
11:59 (PST).   So there is still plenty of time to enter.

  3. Love your layout! Great use of ephemera, and great take on the challenge! I have to say, those big blue pants made me do a double take! Love how you incorporated the color in the bottom mat, and with the strip of blue between the 2 patterns!! -Thanks for playing along with us at Scrap Our Stash!
