You and Me

I've been waiting to use this February sketch at  "MY CREATIVE SKETCHES"  and I finally got the right picture.     This is my son and grandaughter all dress up and ready to leave for the annual
Father - Daughter dance at her school.   My son took other pictures there but they turned out a bit too dark.   He had asked me if I would make him something that he could frame.    I hope he will like this layout and frame it when I send it to him.

I decided to go with blues because of the color of Mylan's dress and Jason had on a light blue dress shirt.   I looked at my DCWV Linen Closet stack and found the accent papers I wanted to use plus was also able to fussy cut from items one one page, my title, my journal box and some of the other accents.   I used to acrylic gold arrows from a package of PL cards and embellies that I no longer have the name of.   Then I used the B side of an old piece of Authentique paper and then a piece of Jim Holtz shattered card stock.  I also used two different shades of distress inks to ink the edges of  the majority of my papers.   I really liked the blues and golds together, I think it merits a father daughter dance layout.

Here is the sketch and the link to the challenge at  "MY CREATIVE SKETCHES"   you have until midnight EST March 4th to enter.   There is a great random draw prize also.
