Christmas Eve 2010
Why Christmas Eve 2010 you ask??? Because it seems my photo printer decided to quit this morning so if I want to scrap anything until I get a new one, I have to go back to pictures I've had printed. I noticed I had a pretty good selection from Christmas 2010, so I looked in chronological
Christmas albums and it seems I had mostly scrapped only pictures that year up until the big day. Plus I had these 2 from Christmas Eve so I just started here.
When making these layouts I was inspired by the new March 1st challenge at "COLORFUL
CREATIONS" a color combo with a twist. Below is the link to the challenge
"COLORFUL CREATIONS" I used red and green through out my layout with my paper choices, my matting on the pictures, the journal tags and my poinsettia embellishment, even the 3D border at the top. I softly inked on top of my paper with a green ink and then also used both green and red inks to ink the edges of my border, both mats and my tags. Plus to finish off the layout I also inked all around the 12x12 layout with green ink. I love inking edges, just gives a finished look to me.
