Rose Garden
Oops, as I was starting this blog post I notice I had the wrong year by 10 years. But I have now made the correction, at least it was an easy one, these pictures are from 2007 not 2017.
These last couple of days I've been going back through a couple of old albums and finding pictures I can scrap and fill into different trips. I'm pretty sure I've scrapped these pictures before but since they aren't in layouts I'm keeping I must have made a layout back at the time of this trip for my daughters albums I made for her. She had an internship after college in Tyler, TX at the Caldwell Zoo. My brother and Dad and I drove down there to see her and stay a few days.
I used Sketch #196 at "SKETCH N SCRAP" for this layout. I wanted to stick with a red and white color combo to go with a challenge we are doing with the scrapbook online group I'm in.
So I was looking everywhere for red and white papers. I ended up pulling from two different collections including one Christmas one that had the red cardinal paper that I used. Then used both red and white card stock and some red ink for some inking on some edges and I got it all made.
Here is the link to "SKETCH N SCRAP" and the sketch that I used. Check out all their monthly challenges and have fun creating.
