A Birthday card

I broke away from my marathon Christmas card making.  To make this Birthday card.   I used the sketch at "JO'S SCRAP SHACK" blog and her Fun-Day Friday sketch.   I loved this sketch and this is the 2nd card I've made for it.       Check out the details   HERE.http://jwscrapshack.blogspot.com/2015/07/ffc-98-its-sketch-time.html

Hi Barbara!
What an beautifully colored card! I love how you were able to take multi patterned paper and put them together to look so great! I struggle with that and you made it look so easy with this card. Your take on the sketch is dead on, love it! Thanks for playing along with us this week in our Funday Friday challenge! Have a great weekend!
Hugs,
Jo

Thanks for the great comments. Joanne, I wasn't sure about how the mixed patterns would work when I pulled the papers out to try, but stuck with it and I'm glad it worked out well.

Love this card it is so cool with the bold patterns and the matting just makes it pop more. A fun little embossed sentiment block for the card is just perfect. Thanks for playing in the challenge at Jo's Funday Friday challenges :)
