HO HO HO

It's throwback scrapping time.   I found some pictures from Christmas 1979 that I hadn't scrapped yet so I wanted to fill in that year in my Christmas albums.    When I saw the single page sketch at "Stick It Down"  I thought about a collection of holiday papers that I hadn't used a lot of because I never know what to do with a paper that has a single big picture on it.   So I pulled out the Fancy Pants - St. Nick collection and found the paper I had in mind to go with this sketch.    My picture I used is of my son at age 2 opening his gifts that were in his stocking left by Santa so I thought this patterned paper was perfect.    Then I added my own bling HO HO HO title and some stocking stickers by my journaling and all done, with my single matted picture and another piece of paper from the collection that I also matted.    After looking at some of the other pages I did of 1979 Christmas pictures I'm thinking I might go back and redo them.  "Stick It Down" also has a double page sketch for February so hopefully it will work for those pictures.     You can see the single page sketch below and get all the details  HERE.

  10. Those big prints can be so hard to use, but that Santa looks great on your page. He adds a lovely vintage touch to your older photo. Thanks for playing at Stick It Down.
