Summer Fun

The last Title challenge for the month at "LASTING MEMORIES"  was great to use with more pictures of my granddaughter on her vacation this month to Cancun area.

LM #558 - Layout Titles - Summer Fun

Hello, everyone! Welcome back to Lasting Memories! I can't believe it is time for our last challenge of the month. Before we get to this week's challenge I want to say a big "Thank You" to our guest designers for July - Connie and Sherri. I have loved seeing their layouts each week this month.

Now, on to this week's challenge. Our theme for July has been "Layout Titles" and each week you are to use the title that we provide for you for the title of your layout. You may add words to the title provided, but you cannot take any of the words away. Here is this week's challenge:

LM #558 - "Summer Fun" - use the phrase - "Summer Fun" for your title on your layout. You may add extra words, but not less.

Life is Good

I love that my daughter got this family selfie while they were on vacation this month.   They look so happy and were having so much fun all together on vacation so I thought this was the perfect picture to use the title "Life is Good"  which was the title challenge on July 11 at "LASTING MEMORIES"  monthly challenges for July, all about titles.

July 4th

We started celebrating the 4th in the morning when I went to Flat Branch Park to meet my granddaughter for the Kid's Sing-Along a friend was doing on stage there before her band started for the adults and more bands in the afternoon.   It was a great morning and extra fun for Elle because two of her friends from pre-school were there too, so they hung out and played and danced together.

I used the "SKETCHES IN THYME  Sketch #477 for this layout.

When in Texas

An overnight in Texas to meet up with the cousins before heading out to Mexico on vacation.

So ...  "When In Texas", especially in Ft. Worth you have to ride the bull.    I used Sketch #229 at  "SKETCH N SCRAP"  for this layout.

Love This View

My daughter and family just got back from a trip to Cancun and I've started scrapping some of their pictures.   I love this one of them looking into this lagoon where they could swim and explore, but right now they are just checking out the view of the rocks and fish there.

I'm entering this in two challenges,  a sketch challenge and a title challenge.

"SCRAP OUR STASH" is where I got the sketch I used plus another requirement was to use stars.

"LASTING MEMORIES" - Their challenges this month are all about titles. This weeks title was perfect for these pictures.

LM #557 - "Love This View" - use the phrase "Love This View" for your title on your layout. You may add extra words, but not less.

NY Bound

I have lots of summer pictures I need to catch up on of my grandkids.   Starting with this one from early June of my granddaughter going to NY with Mom and Dad to visit with her other grandparents.  It had been over a year since she got to see them so all were excited.   I love it that on every flight she has ever gone on they always get a picture of her reading the flight instructions.   Even her first flight at about 8 months old they snapped a picture like that.

I used the sketch #228 from July 1st at  "SKETCH N SCRAP".   I loved how they had the banners/flags going up above the pictures.
