I'm adding this layout to the "LASTING MEMORIES" first challenge for July. One of my favorite tools to use is my White Gel Pen. I feel journaling in white whenever I can because I think it makes the words really pop off the page.

This set of pictures worked out perfectly for the SCRAPPY FRIENDS CHALLENGE this month.
I used the sketch from "ROCHELLE SPEARS BLOGSPOT"
Then I used the tic-tac-toe challenge at "SCRAP WITH STACY" I used the diagonal: Ephemera, Tag and Twine/Ribbon.
I got this picture over the weekend when we went to the neighbors house to pick cherries from their tree in the front yard that was so full of cherries. We got all of these and the tree looked like it hadn't been touched. Cherry pie will be coming today.
I used the "LASTING MEMORIES" Challenge #755 - Size It Up Challenge #3
I made this layout using the June Sketch at "ROCHELLE SPEARS BLOG" and then I added the tic-tac-toe challenge at "SCRAP WITH STACY". It took me awhile to decide what picture I wanted to use as a circle photo, but I'm really happy how this layout turned out. This was a last minute photo I got with my daughter after we had finished our outing for a Mother's Day Brunch this year.
Here is the sketch. Thants for the push to find just the right circle photo to use. "ROCHELLE SPEARS"
Then here is the tic-tac-toe board. I did the middle row Ink Splatter/Spray; Circle; Fishtail Banner. Again this was a stretch for me to do the ink splatter/spray, but I'm so glad I did because I really love this look this time. "SCRAP WITH STACY".
I took these pictures in the Rainforest Pyramid at Moody Gardens in Galveston, TX, when we stayed there during a road trip for a National Mustang Road trip. We explored the pyramids during one of our days off from car shows and such.
I used the Size it Up Challenge #2 at "LASTING MEMORIES" The 1x3 pieces I matted and then used for my journaling blocks.
We stopped at the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library last month coming home from our road trip to Galveston, TX. We didn't know if we would have the extra time, but by getting away from Galveston earlier than expected this stop worked out perfectly for us. I'm so glad we made the stop because I really like visiting any Presidential Library that I have a chance to go to.
I went with the patriotic theme and colors for this layout because I thought they would work perfectly and then work for the Mood Board Challenge #138 at "CHALLENGE YOURSELF" I only got a couple of pictures taken of me there so I used them both here. One sitting by a sculpture of Bush and then in the replica of the Situation Room.
I used the paper size requirements for Challenge #753 at "LASTING MEMORIES".
Good morning, and welcome to a brand new month of challenges here at Lasting Memories. We are going to get started on the first day with our new theme, so buckle up - here we go!
Let's have fun with papers this month! Incorporate one of each size paper onto your layout.
